VERIFY:geological_stage: stored=kimmeridgian suggested=tithonian confidence=high — The Morrison biozonation places the C. supremus Zone near the top of the upper member of the Morrison Formation, Tithonian in age, above the C. grandis (mid Kimmeridgian) and C. lentus (late Kimmeridgian) zones. Type material is likewise logged from the Upper Brushy Basin Member, Tithonian Stage, so the Kimmeridgian assignment applies to other Camarasaurus species, not C. supremus.

VERIFY:period_start_mya: stored=155 suggested=152 confidence=medium — 155 Ma corresponds to the Kimmeridgian base of the Morrison Formation and to the genus Camarasaurus as a whole, but C. supremus is restricted to a Tithonian zone near the top of the upper Morrison, and PBDB records for C. supremus give the Tithonian interval (149.2–145 Ma) in the Brushy Basin Member. A first appearance around 152 Ma or later is better supported than 155 Ma.
